Is “The Week” (the magazine) worth it?
Is "The Week" (the magazine) worth it?
I'm trying to reduce my doom scrolling but struggle to get stuck in to a good book.
Partly because I typically read what I think I should be reading instead of what I probably should be reading, because I enjoy it, which is often something my wife has on her bedside table.
So, I'm wondering if it's worth trying "The Week" on one of their affordable trials (I've recently seen £6 for 6 weeks, before it skips to £54 every 13 weeks).
Anyone here delved in? Or have any alternatives worth trying?
I tried Private Eye a few years ago but it was far too satirical and I often felt that I needed to be up to date with the news to understand half of it, which kind of defeated the point for me in purchasing it.
